Music can have an incredible influence on the way we think, the way we feel, and the way we live out our lives. In the course of a few minutes, one song can shift your entire day around.
My all-time favorite song. There isn’t a single piece of music that’s ever been made that’s as inspirational and awe-inspiring as “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus. Some people might think I’m kidding but I’m 100% serious. Do you remember how I was saying few songs have the ability to both make me cry and cheer me up at the same time? “The Climb” brings it to a whole other level while also inspiring me to chase anything I’ve ever wanted in the history of my lifetime. If you don’t give this song a listen, you’re missing out on one of the music industry’s most beautifully crafted pieces of art ever.

Living The Good Life
By Zac M. Skuba
Sometimes life is tough and you could really use something to help you break out of your head. What better way to do that than with a bit of a jam session? Here are 10 songs that are bound to change your mood for the better. Crank these loud and proud in the morning to get your day started the right way.
Few songs have the ability to both make me cry and cheer me up at the same time. “Carry On” by Fun is one of them. This song is a reminder that no matter how tough things get, you put your feet upon the ground and you carry on.
I didn’t like this song when I originally heard it but after my brother pushed me to listen to it a few times, it became one of my favorite songs of all time. Not only are the lyrics inspirational as hell but the theatrical music brings your mind to another space and time. If you want a song that’s going to make you want to run through walls, this is the one to listen to.
I used to have “Could Have Been Me” as my alarm every morning. It reminded me every single day why I was doing what I was doing with my life and that I was chasing my dream—no matter how impossible it felt to realize. Don’t live with the regret of what could’ve been. Live each and every day the way you want to and go chase your dreams.
I don’t care what anyone says, this song is inspirational. I don’t care what anyone else believes, I’m going after what I want. This life of mine isn’t your song, it’s my song. I’m going to decide what I want to do with it.
The thing about a mood-to-win song is it needs to help you paint a picture in your head. You need to be able to close your eyes and feel bigger than yourself. “Hands Held High” might not be Linkin Park’s most well-known or best song, but it’s one of their most beautiful songs. A prayer to the world to just look around for once. We need to fix this place and we need to start standing up for what we believe in.
Turn the volume all the way up for this one. It’s not necessarily as inspirational as other songs on this list but it sure as heck gets the party started in your head or living room. Let the anticipation build before an absolutely disgusting hammer of a beat drops.
Disclaimer: This is an extremely explicit song.
Another song that isn’t necessarily that well known and probably isn’t even Eminem’s best mood-to-win song. It’s my favorite of his though. “Lose Yourself” and “Til I Collapse” are incredible songs but “Legacy” makes me feel something different. It lets me feel a wider set of emotions than the other two songs do. It tells about overcoming tough times and still coming out on top.
You didn’t think I could make a mood-to-win playlist and not include a little AC/DC, did you? Is there anything more iconic than hearing those bells start-up at the beginning of the song? Please.
“Because we won’t back down, we won’t run and hide.” I used to crush this song on the Rock Band drums before every single one of my hockey games growing up. It’s a song with great lyrics and a superb tempo. Personally, I don’t listen to it as much as I used to but it’s only because I’ve listened to it over a thousand times. Legitimately.
